Upgrading Validation is a project that, as its name implies, aims to develop processes for validating the work of volunteers and effectively encourage organizations and third parties to validate the skills acquired by volunteers.
The project is carried out in partnership with organizations in the Netherlands, the EDOS Foundation as coordinator, and The Association of Dutch Voluntary Effort Organizations, together with France Benevolat (France), the European Volunteer Center (based in Brussels), and the Cluj-Napoca Volunteer Center.
The objectives of the project are focused on: creating research on good practices in validating the skills of volunteers in partner countries
– creation of a validation guide for volunteers, organizations, and volunteer centers
– elaboration of a support manual for volunteer centers
The project runs from October 2019 to February 2022, being a long-term transnational partnership, co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus + Program.
